Page 1 of 4 This guide will step through the app inventor interface.On first starting the Google Android App Inventor the follow page will load (Figure 1.0): Figure 1.0 ![]() This is the design page that will allow for component (visible and non visible) to be added to the app that is currently being created. To the left of this screen is the Palette list or component list shown here (Figure 1.1) : Figure 1.1 ![]() Each of the sections here categories the types of components that can be used within a project or app. The basic section shown here covers the standard types of components that can be used such as buttons, text boxes, labels etc. When one of these are dragged onto the Screen1 window ,shown in Figure 1.0 in the center, then its properties are shown under the Properties section on the right (Figure 1.2) : Figure 1.2 ![]() |
