This short guide will go through how to change the screen/desktop resolution.
****Warning changing screen resolution can cause hardware problems if the wrong settings are applied. Further more incorrect settings can cause MS Windows from functioning****.

To access the settings ,in order to change the desktop/screen resolution, can be done one of two ways. The first is to  locate the Control Panel in the Start Menu (usually located either in the Start menu or under the Settings menu) and then open the Display icon.
